COP3.net is a large network of experienced, registered, multidisciplinary health and care experts in private practice across England and Wales. We can assess anyone in the world, in any time zone, so long as the legal test being applied is within the jurisdiction of England and Wales - our service is available to you!
Our team of experts are drawn exclusively from the medical (doctors), nursing, social work, psychology, occupational therapy, and speech and language therapy fields. All professionals have professional indemnity insurance in place and have over 5 years of experience in capacity assessments.
When using our remote-based service, you will always be provided with a named registered professional.
Our records are held on a secure clinical and care system, accessible only to your allocated assessors, their case assistant and the quality control lead. We also use the same NHS-secure platform to administer all remote-based assessments. Secure | Private | Reliable
As part of our initial triage and screening service, we only provide this service where we are confident that your individual case is suitable for an online assessment. If we do not believe that a remote assessment is appropriate, we may, with your permission, refer you to our external partner, Nova Care Consultants, an award-winning capacity assessment service that provides face-to-face assessments throughout England and Wales.

Our COP3 fee is £499
That's right, £499 for a capacity assessment and report. No lengthy waits and no hidden fees. The fee you see is the fee you pay.
Our fees cover all administration, case preparation before the assessment, including work by our admin and clinical care teams. It covers the remote-based assessment, which typically lasts 1 hour, and the written COP3 report provided to you.
We'll even provide the report to you within 72 hours of the assessment, once it has been quality-checked by a senior team member.

Our PA14 fee is £499
That's right, £499 for a PA14 Probate Medical Certificate and report. No lengthy waits and no hidden fees. The fee you see is the fee you pay.
Our fees cover all case preparation before the assessment, including work by our admin and clinical care teams. It covers the remote-based assessment, which typically lasts 1 hour, and the PA14 Probate Medical Certificate is posted to you by second class at no additional cost (for £12.00, we can offer Next Day delivery).
We'll even provide you with a full written report within 72 hours of the assessment, once it has been quality-checked by a senior team member.

Our Revoke fee is £499

If you require both Health and Welfare and Property and Affairs LPAs, our fees are £779.

We understand that capacity assessments can be stressful and uncertain. Every assessment we deliver will meet the highest professional standards, be based on clinical evidence, and be in line with national laws, codes of practice, statutory guidelines, and clinical excellence (NICE and SCIE).
Your assessment will be probate registry and/or court-ready. That's our promise. If you are not completely satisfied with the quality of the report, we'll revise it at no extra cost to you.
Working with us
We are always looking for experienced practitioners who hold specialist or advanced skills or qualifications in the areas of mental capacity. We are keen to hear from those with over 5 years of experience in assessing mental capacity, and if you would be interested to hear more, please email admin@cop3.net for an informal and confidential chat with our recruitment lead.
We require all our practitioners to hold professional registration in the UK, and ideally have experience in the Court of Protection or High Court. Training is provided, and clinical supervision and quality assurance is provided.
